Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

So in theory, for an ordinary Palestinian in Gaza... Hamas terrorists committed an atrocity against innocent Israeli civilians, nothing to do with me, and in retaliation Israel is now occupying Gaza and bombing the place to bits and killing thousands of innocent civilians. If I shoot an Israeli soldier occupying my town, am I a terrorist or just resisting occupation by a foreign power in a place that the international community does not recognise as part of that foreign power's territory?

That’s undeniably correct on all counts that you’ve raised, but the figure of 300 just doesn’t add up irrespective of the awful (and doubtless much higher) figure in Gaza.
 
I see Turkey is pressing for some action in the International Courts regarding war crimes, Israel has always been protected by the US in that respect, but the prospect fills Israelis with dread, it means that many senior officials will be trapped in Israel for fear of arrest, with many Russians facing the same you can see the argument source for the goose and all that, it could also apply to IDF commanders

They have left teams with anti armour weapons. There have been few pictures of open gun battles but dozens of instances of Israeli armour being blown up by Palestinian homemade RPG's.

They care but they see it as a price that has to be paid to keep their campaign for a Palestinian state alive.

A couple of hundred are under the place with the writting this is children here on the floor, the russians have built over them, the figure of kids dead is way off

Does that include the countless children who have been kidnapped by Russians and forced to accept Russian passports, or the ones that have “disappeared”?

When you Google it pratically every article is 500 Children killed since the War began. Even One from the Ukrainian authorities

I doubt this to be honest. Personally from what I can tell what they wanted was an Israeli response so harsh it rallied the Arab world to war with Israel.
