Seems Israel have just decided to do what they want now, knowing that nothing will be done about it.
At no time?In 1800 Jews made up 3% of the population of Palestine.
In 1890 8%
At the outbreak of WWI, 14%
By 1932 17%
And just before the creation of the state of Israel in 1947 the Jews made up 32% of the population.
So as can be seen there has been a steady influx of Jews to the area but at no time did they make up anything like the majority of the people living in Palestine.
Who's land is it?
Your knowledge of international law seems a bit outdated. So France, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Czechoslovakia became part of Germany in WW2....Actually, Jordan ruled that piece of land between 1948 and 1967.
The question is: did the Palestinians demand for a statehood during this period?
Israel conquered the West Bank during the 1967 war. Under international law, that land becomes a part of Israel. Just like Nagorno Karabach or Crimea.
Theve been doing what they want for decades, It's just now their murdering in the Tens of thousands.Seems Israel have just decided to do what they want now, knowing that nothing will be done about it.
Those countries you mentioned were actually governed by Germany after their defeat. during WW2.Your knowledge of international law seems a bit outdated. So France, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Czechoslovakia became part of Germany in WW2....
If you blame Israel for the Lebanon war, then you're part of the problem.Seems Israel have just decided to do what they want now, knowing that nothing will be done about it.
I think if Scotland was being attacked by Norway say, the English might get involved. If you blame Israel for the Lebanon war, then you're part of the problem.
There was no dispute between Lebanon and Israel until Hezbollah started firing rockets at Israel on October 8 in solidarity with Hamas.
What do you want Israel to do?
More of a you problem as far as I can see. Who has a record of invading and occupying with a list of documented massacres against who here?If you blame Israel for the Lebanon war, then you're part of the problem.
Yep there was absolutely no border tensions before the day present history started. There was no dispute between Lebanon and Israel until Hezbollah started firing rockets at Israel on October 8 in solidarity with Hamas.
Stop being a psychopathic rogue state that routinely terrorises people while at the same time claiming ultimate victim status? What do you want Israel to do?
Hezbollah have every right to help out the PalestiniansIf you blame Israel for the Lebanon war, then you're part of the problem.

I think you’ll find you’ve become what you hate. Those countries you mentioned were actually governed by Germany after their defeat. during WW2.
There's footage of Hitler visiting Paris. So not sure what point you're trying to make.
Just caught the start of the news. Sounds like a ground war might start? But I thought Israel were by factors the strongest military force in the region?
So any battles they're involved in will be quite one sided...and not worth getting involved in?
Britain governed lots of countries. India was never "part of Britain". The law of conquest is no longer international law. Those countries you mentioned were actually governed by Germany after their defeat. during WW2.

There's not a chance we'll stop supplying arms; too much lucre involved. A two state solution is a distant dream at this stage.I see we're (the west) appealing for a ceasefire again while keeping the supply of arms healthy. We should just tell Israel we're turning off the tap on arms in 6 months if they don't find a peaceful 2 state solution.
Thanks for your response although you haven't answered my first question, nor the second (BTW looks like you mistyped IDF). Point three is still a red herring and as for point four Hezbollah and Hamas hide amongst civilians so the point still stands.I’m rarely on forum now. For humanitarian matters. On the questions, here are info:
1. Previous to the Metula IOF attack, the bombs from Lebanon targeted Israel occupied territories, which Israel identifies as Syrian land. In contrast, Syria identifies the territory as Lebanon land. Fwiw, Lebanon bombs striked Lebanon land whereby consisted of Lebanon abandoned outposts. Hence why ACLED identifies the cross-border attack being Metula as Metula borders Israel and Lebanon.
2. A truce between Hamas and IOF, which Hezbollah also announced by video announcement of Hezbollah non attacking during the truce. Bear in mind that miltias are not only Hezbollah.
3. A nuclear warhead vs a precision JDAM. Difference. As well, the Lebanon missiles are outdated models.
4. You made a slip of the tongue there by mentioning Hamas. The villages bombed by Israel in Lebanon are not Hamas, but Hezbollah targetted. And they were residential villages. Refer to the ACLED maps. The attack on Lebanon were mostly sporadic villages. The attack on Israel were mostly military bases and outposts.
Yeah. Let's turn off the supply of arms to a nation that is under attack from seven fronts while remaining silent on the flow of arms to their enemies.I see we're (the west) appealing for a ceasefire again while keeping the supply of arms healthy. We should just tell Israel we're turning off the tap on arms in 6 months if they don't find a peaceful 2 state solution.
