Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Finally some (hopefully) good news.

Michael Mansfield KC. Is one of a group of legal experts who will today hand over a dossier to the Metropolitan Police War Crimes team.
It documents the War Crimes committed by 10 'Britons' whilst they worked for the Israel death squads, sorry military.

Whether these 10 are ever arrested and put before a court in the Hague is unknown but Mansfield who was prominent in the Stephen Lawrence debacle, the Grenfell Tower disaster and the Birmingham 6 is not a man to be ignored.

It's a small step in the right direction, let's hope the Met (and the Govt.) act quickly

I can imagine the next steps from our government will be more support of Israel sadly.

I agree, I am not sure how you get a case to the Hague. The police is the first step but can they pass it direct ?

If it involves the govt. it may never get there but at least people, notable people are taking steps to try and enforce international law.

When watching and listening to this video of an account of a doctor without knowing who were the killers and who were the victims, it is a flawless description of Nazis.

It doesn't need to go to the Hague.

Under the International Criminal Courts Acts of 2001, UK courts have jurisdiction to prosecute acts of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by UK nationals either inside or outside of the United Kingdom, and offences of murder committed outside the jurisdiction may be prosecuted in the UK.

Trump never fails to act insane with his ridiculous comments America turning away refugees currently and deporting others, Europe has it’s own borders full with Ukrainian and other refugees. Where does Trump really think they can all go ?

Why should they go anywhere ?
Palestine is there home. It was before the British Govt. gave part of it to Israel.
Ethnic cleansing is against international law and yet no political leader points that out.

I’m more surprised that that issue is posted on X, because it’s been for many decades Many Palestinian houses’ owners in West Bank are not allowed to exit from their main doors becauss the doors lead to roads that Palestinians are prohibited from entering (in their cases exiting from their houses). Palestinians exit through side windows or their neighbours rooftops to get to the allowed by-roads.

Netanyahu broke the ceasefire so that idiots could justify the occupation by saying "Hamas still has hostages". If he cared about the hostages he wouldn't have broken the ceasefire.

1: A deal was made to hand back the hostages in two phases and it wasn’t Hamas who broke it.

Well I believe the only way this stops is with internal dissension from Israeli Jewish people with morals. And although we don’t hear it, I believe there is a lot of dissension.

Holding on to the hostages has resulted in what we are witnessing on a daily basis and yes it is sickening. Very sickening. If you continue to support the holding on to the hostages then it is highly unlikely that Israel will cease their attacks. Hold on to them if you must but lower your expectations as regard to stopping the killings. This has proven to be the case time and time again.

I'm daft enough to try another approach. Do you think Israel should release all Palestinian prisoners? Israel's lies about the paramedics this week proves that many "convictions" will be unreliable.
