Israel 100% had the right to respond to the October attack and defend itself by going after Hamas and its enemies.

It has now clearly done that and is now busy wiping out a population at worst and leaving them with no home at best as they take Gaza with the obvious green light of America.

I would hope we at least come out and respond to this policy saying it’s not acceptable and vote accordingly in any UN vote although results will be ignored.

America has gone rogue and it’s allowed Netanyahu and his cronies to do the same.

I think they [Israel] have said this is what is likely happen if Hamas don't give up the hostages.... an opening gambit I guess.

Will Hamas want to take the risk of sacrificing their people for the sake of holding on to hostages? It is a reasonable question I guess.

It's always been about land and the Greater Israel. There's absolutely nothing anyone can do about it while the yanks are on board with the Genocide.

Yeah it's almost like this Israeli government,propped up by extremist supporters,has a final solution.

Why, in your opinion, did the October attack take place ?

In my opinion, it wasn't the start nor the end of anything.
Two blood thirsty adversaries were at it long before October.
In the middle were innocent people.
If Hamas/Hezbollah is totally destroyed by this weekend, do you think Israel will stop ?

The last news bulletin I listened to on LBC (arounf 17:00ish said.... (not verbatim)

Israel has told Hamas that they will take over the whole of Gazza if the hostages are not returned. To avoid casualties people will be told to leave the area and the country will be flattened. They also went on to say they [Israel] would not give any commitment about withdrawing after they had taken over. Furthermore, it is thought the takeover would not likely to happen until after Trumps visit which is due in the next couple of weeks.

Someone then went on to discuss that they thought Israel were trying to use Trumps visit to the region as some kind of leverage in the discussion....
