Peace in Europe for the past 70+ years have blinded many people about the horrors of war.
Many now assume that it is possible to fight a war without collateral damage.
Every civilian casualty is regrettable. But the way some people go about it makes it looks like Israel is deliberately targeting civilians. Meanwhile, it's possible that these civilians were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The critics of Israel wants them to fight an impossible war.
In Lebanon, they criticized Israel for using the pagers which targeted 99% Hezbollah fighters.
They criticize Israel for returning fire when they are shot at from a hospital. Every trained soldier will return fire if fired upon from a "protected" zone in a military conflict.
They accuse Israel of shooting at people who were going to collect aids. Only for a drone footage to appear later showing Hamas fighters shooting their own people.
For many people, these conflicts are no longer about facts or objectivity. It's now about entrenched ideology.
All I can say is that Europe will pay the price for this in the coming years.
Israel is targeting civilians in Gaza. Interpreting it any other way is absurd. Israel deserves condemnation for their actions.
Hamas targets civilians and deserves condemnation for their actions.
Iran is currently targeting civilians in Israel. Iran deserves condemnation for their actions.
