Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

Post 2nd World War there was much debate about the failure of The Allies to do anything to alleviate the suffering of Jewish people either in camps or in ghettos. Given the absence of the media that there is today it has been argued that there was not the true awareness of the problem so nothing could be done. Tonight I have just been watching on the news children and women standing in line waiting for food and water. What appeared to be on offer looked minimal. In future years we will hopefully look back and admit that this was one of the most shameful periods in history. We cannot blame lack of coverage but a total lack of both compassion and resolve.

It could be done we fly a spy aircraft over Gaza every day, strap food parcels on and drop them over Gaza
Are we really at the stage if we drop food over Gaza the Israeli would shoot down an RAF flight?. I say let’s find out the time for talking is over.

It's gone WAY too far now. This must STOP immediately. About time we started treating Israel like we have Russia.

I even think we've got the point "we" should be considering military action against Israel. It's that serious. Seems very obvious their objective is the complete elimination of not only Hamas, but in fact all of Gaza and its citizens. This cannot be allowed to continue.

Very minimum, seizing Israeli assets, freezing bank accounts, stopping all trade etc.

I would consider James O'Brien - like myself - has done a 180 and after the appalling events on 7th October to disgust with the Zionist response - of course to the Board ANY criticsism of IDF action is anti semitic - also bear in mind its a phone in show so 50% at least of the views raised are by the audience so they don't just want to cancel James O'Brien they want to cancel British peoples right to speak out as well. Bear in mind as LBC are covered by Ofcom LBC would have to pull the plug or face the LBC if a caller was allowed to come on and start racially or religiously motivated Jewish people. Are the Board representing British Jews or a mouth piece for the Netanyahu Zionist Govt?

Start at the top with the PM Starmer, his family connection prevent him from doing the right thing.
