Middle East Conflict | Netanyahu orders strikes on Gaza (p1161)

“UNESCO confirms at least 94 heritage sites in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed due to Israel’s heavy bombardment, including the 13th-century Pasha’s Palace.
Gaza one of the world’s oldest cities is facing a war that targets not only its people and homes, but also its history, culture, and memory”

When Isis set about destroying historical sites the world, especially the west , reacted with outrage.
It was used as a reason why Isis had to be destroyed.

When Israel do it not one politician does anything.
Mind you when you've done nothing about Israel murdering thousands, why would you.

A barbaric nation that is out of control.

I am surprised that as a nation that has endured genocide they cannot see what there government is doing in there name

The source is Gaza notifications a journalist inside Gaza, maybe released by a soldier or one of the American/Israeli aid workers dishing out the food.
We know it’s happening from the British doctors who have returned from Gaza and told us of the gunshot wounds and deliberate target practiced by the IDF.

My God. Over 50 Airstrikes dropped on Gaza today What is happening in Gaza City has passed the stage of extermination.

The IDF dropped tons of its bombs on three schools housing displaced people west of the city in the Shati camp

I have seen t shirts and posters with water melons on them. Alongside which slogans like Free Palestine would be written.
I didn't understand it and tbh it looked a bit silly
Fortunately I have Google.
It seems since 1967 Israel has banned the Palestinian flag from being displayed.
A watermelon is the same colours as the Palestinian flag and so it became a symbol of defiance. The killers aka, Israel have even tried to ban pictures, flags etc of watermelons and even art work that has the colours red, white, black and green.

We could manage without the cell phones couldn’t we or are we so obsessed by them. ? The old fashioned system is still around. I think ? I’m checking food for “made in Israel”, so far not found a single item.

Good luck in finding a phone box still operating.

The fact you can't find it proves that a boycott is a success and shops are not stocking stuff made there

Same. There is plenty of things I thought I knew about about this 'conflict' before 2 years ago but the weaponisation of the watermelon is one of many I had no conception of.

One of many things the Zionist entity has lost in the last 40 years (and they are not alone in that) is ability to do satire.

What are we doing there at all, if we don’t keep records of flying over Gaza ? So sad for the people if we can’t ascertain if a genocide is being committed by Israel because it’s classified information. It’s only for hostage search and rescue.

So essentially we're telling the Israelis there are no hostages in a particular building so it's safe to flatten the building. (Safe for the hostages, not for Palestinian civilians.)

Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, according to a commission established by the United Nations.

The report claims "it is clear that there is an intent to destroy the Palestinians in Gaza" and says Israel's actions meet the criteria set down for defining a genocide.

+++

where are those on here who said we it isn't a genocide ?

A United Nations commission of inquiry says Israel has committed genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

A new report says there are reasonable grounds to conclude that four of the five genocidal acts defined under international law have been carried out since the start of the war with Hamas in 2023: killing members of a group, causing them serious bodily and mental harm, deliberately inflicting conditions calculated to destroy the group, and preventing births.

It cites statements by Israeli leaders, and the pattern of conduct by Israeli forces, as evidence of genocidal intent.

Most of the population has also been repeatedly displaced; more than 90% of homes are estimated to be damaged or destroyed; the healthcare, water, sanitation and hygiene systems have collapsed; and UN-backed food security experts have declared a famine in Gaza City.
