Middle East Conflict

I think his "nice try" was for your demand for evidence that something that may not have happened. It's hard to prove a negative.
Of course it is, but it's standard fare to try and downplay Hamas responsibility for the masacre.
The Israeli police were simply reporting initial findings of a post masacre investigation that indicates there is a case to answer - standard legal practice in Israel.
Oh and I do despair about Israel's conduct in this war - it is simply storing up problems for the future. But if Hamas hadn't attacked Israel wouldn't be in Gaza.

Her speech is inimitable. Well done.

As the days gone by, Herod of Judea, King of the Jews, is the reincarnation of what has become. There were many who were under the rule of Herod who built grand architectures yet massacred civilians and children and women, and grab land for his palaces. Like today's Herod, the real Herod also had an external ruler, of Rome, who appointed none against Herod's tyrannical rule. Herod appeased Rome's August with a grand building, the Augusteum.

Yep simple really. There’s a difference between fighting back and killing/ torturing innocent people. You don’t seem to understand that.

When have I said killing all Hamas fighters would result in all the problems going away?
By supporting more violence. Supporting Israel going in and attacking. What Israel are doing is instilling the next generation of murderers. And they will deserve that because they really need to find a different way. We ALL know that that, at least I thought everyone did. You say they have the right to retaliate but it achieves nothing except more and more death. (And in this case quite disgustingly, 1000s and 1000s of deaths, in revenge bascially it would seem.)

A very good start for Israel would be to start handing back the land they have appropriated, negotiate, start negotiations, everyone has a price and power, its how we solved the irish problems to the degree we did. Becaudse we learnt that war, death, reprisals just create more and more death.

Israel is in effect doing what Hamas wanted them to do. Hamas couldn't give a shit about their own.

There’s a bit of circular logic there, one could say that if Gaza wasn’t treated like a prison camp the situation may not have exploded as it did, that something was going to give was pretty obvious

The world also stands accused because they thought by building what are essentially large open air prisons in Gaza and now the West Bank the situation could be managed and ignored

Who is downplaying hamas responsibility for the massacre ? You keep repeating that , it is not a fair thing to accuse us of
