I can’t see any Arab states doing anything given how brutal Israel’s response has been. It’s awful to see the suffering.
Indeed. They are restrained and rather not want to stoop low as Israel has no shame to do. It is too draconian.
Israel is dangling a carrot. If Arabs retaliate, like the
six-day war, that's a guarantee that the West (includes us given our Rothschild Balfour historic past) will defend Israel tooth and nail. Hundreds and thousands die on both sides. A regional war. etcetera etcetera.
So Arabs rather go the diplomatic and political route.
The Six-Day War never would have happened if Israel didn't do the June 5th surprise attack on Egypt. Reminiscent of Pearl Harbour surprise attack by old Japan.
Not surprising of their history of Irgun, Lehi, Haganah, Palmach. In the 1930s-1940s, when they were terrorising for Israel freedom, they were also terrorising us. They bombed our embassies. They killed our soldiers and officers in many sites. They stole our soldiers' and police' weaponry. They smuggled thousands of illegal immigrants by sea from us. They bombed more than a dozen of our military camps. They even bombed Goldsmith's House Club in Jerusalem, a club that Palestinians had no issue with having Christian and British sites, killing 2 soldiers. They also attacked Schneller Orphanage, killing one of our soldiers in a list of British soldiers killed (Cairn, Barker, . They were that aggressive that our side arrested them and sent them all the way to Africa by air to be detained. They are so anti-British that they compared us as Nazis and documented it (when in documented history the Lehi was forming partnerships with the Nazis in Germany, and the Fascists in Italy in 1940, a few years before WWII).
Walter Guinness (Lord Moyne) was assassinated by them because they blamed him for the deprivation of hundreds and thousands of Jews (of against illegal immigration). Decades after, in exchange between Israel and Egypt, the IDF requested the bodies of the assassins to be given, and they were. Now the assassins are buried in the Jerusalem Hall of Heroism.
They also attempted to assassinate Harold McMichael, 7 times but each time a narrow attempt. They blamed him for taking too long to sort out the illegal immigration until the deaths of 750+ on that ship. When actually literally that ship was sunken by a Soviet submarine. Yet Harold McMichael was targeted repeatedly.
