Mate you're not going to get anywhere on here. This thread is about polarisation and political identity, nobody is interested in peace, it's all about hate and anger. You'll get quoted a pointless selective history lesson for the last 80 years despite the fact that basically anything about that land can be argued over the last 2000 years.
I've said on here that Hamas should surrender because that would immediately end the violence but it's amazing how barely any of those who post relentlessly every single day never agree. At the end of the day these people want this war to continue, they're the kind of nutters who supported the Yemeni Houthis bombing us. You have to really question whether they're actually bothered about the Palestinians or whether they're more bothered about maintaining resistance of all forms against Israel and the west.
Let's face it, in Gaza there will only be one winner and a prolonged war does not suit the Palestinians in any shape or form. Therefore the best thing that can happen to the Palestinians is for Hamas to surrender. If Hamas surrenders then the political and diplomatic voice for something like a two state solution grows much louder. At the moment there is never going to be talk of such a solution whilst Israel's existence is under attack.
The IRA used bombs and bullets but ultimately achieved very little through resistance however they did it anyway and that's what set them aside as a terrorist organisation. Terrorist organisations tend not to achieve peace, peace is brought by a political process that comes after the terrorism stops.
