Hamas were elected to govern Gaza AFTER the Israelis withdrew. If they had elected a government that recognised Israel's right to exist and didn't have the destruction of Israel as one of its aims, there would be no need for a blockade. Also if they used construction materials to build houses rather than tunnels for infiltration, life would be a lot easier for them. If they didn't indiscrimately launch rockets at nearby Israeli towns, Israel wouldn't need to make targeted strikes on the launch sites that Hamas deliberately locate in densely populated areas.

You once again ignore the fact that Palestine is occupied by a foreign invader. The right to resist occupation is not just a legal right, it is also a moral right.
How many times has Israel launched "operations" against Gaza? Here's a clue.
The Palestinians have the right of suffrage. It's not for you or anybody else to dictate to them who they should or should not vote for. The popularity of Hamas is a response to decades of illegal Israeli occupation, blockade and indiscriminate bombing. They did not become to exist in an atmosphere of content. They are the effect of Israel's policies. And I again state the fact that the precursor to Hamas was supported by Israel. Israel have only themselves to blame for the existence of Hamas.

So the victims of the theft are at fault because they wont give the thieves legitimacy ?.

The Jews were there first.
Records dating back to 300 bc.
Ottoman empire invaded in 1577.
Hence the Arab population.

Here we go again.

Doesn't matter who was there first. Existing homes were bulldozed with photo frames still on walls, clothes and sleeping mats strewn in occupied rooms, their occupants chased out of their homes to seek refuge elsewhere. It's their homes. Doesn't matter if their Palestinians or Israelis or Christians, they were driven out against their will. 27000 homes were demolished. Adding insult to injury, those who lost their homes are not allowed to build or apply for new ones.

I bet 300BC where you live now, some civilisation call it their home. Might as well they claim their right too and bulldoze you out of your house.

There's no point in bringing this up. before Judaism there was paganism in the same lands, surely they have stronger claims based on this logic.

Let the pagans live there.
They can light a fire every night and rub each other down with lumps of amber.
