Middle East Conflict

Anyone not seeing above must be not only living in their bubble but deliberately ignoring what has been happening around them trying to stick to an idealogy to their own detriment.
I spend most of my time between Leeds and Manchester. I’ve not noticed the Islamic republic I’m supposed to be living in. Yes there are more Muslims compared with decades ago but it’s not like the States where a bunch of rednecks, incited by the President, can storm the Capitol Hill and try to overthrow the incoming Government.

I wonder whether Israel (who suffered the horrible terrorist attack) would be less indiscriminate in their retaliation if the Bank of the US of A had a more balanced electorate.

It’s a bit of a shit show with Hamas backed by Iran and the states funding Israel.

I doubt the Iranians give a single fuck about the Palestinians. They don't like Israel and they don't like the US. There needs to be some sort of US/Iranian rapprochement if there is ever to be a solution to this thing. And then some incentive for the Iranians to forget about Israel. Tough jobs.
Before 1979 Iran and Israel were allies against a common enemy that had tried to destroy Israel on several occasions.

Unfortunately the people who committed the atrocities aren’t the ones being killed in retaliation
I’m sure a lot of them are already dead, it’s sad that so many civilians are being caught up in this it’s the same in every war I’m afraid and like all wars it will come to an end when one side thinks it’s done enough to prevent it happening again.

What’s your take on these actions and outcome of years before:

There are more of the past.

It’s another symptom of the timeline going back probably to the Arab Revolt of 1936 against the British who were allowing increasing immigration of Jews from countries they were being kicked out from who were being attacked and killed when coming into Mandatory Palestine.

Since then it’s been a never ending to-and-fro of attacks, defences, plots, growth in extremism and nationalism that never gets better.

I don’t think either side have ever done things right at many points along the way. Nor have the outside influences.

And it’s not just one way. You have posted three videos there of Israel firing on Palestinians (abhorrent actions, indeed, there should be far more condemnation of Israel from its allies and more consequences put on them by the UN/their allies), yet you have failed to acknowledge anything coming the other way which is often what happens on this subject.

In March 2013 alone, there were 13,796 rockets and mortars fired from Gaza into Israel; in 11 days in May 2019 4,000 missiles were launched from Gaza into Israel. And this goes on all the time, and has going back to the Ben Yehuda Street Bombing in 1948. I think there has been less than one week of combined days this century that there hasn’t been a rocket hit Israel from Gaza.

And there are often things like this happening:

It’s both sides, they’re both at it, they’re both to blame.

Israel are the ones who then go-in harder than they were hit and that’s what people seem to pay most attention to.

One thing that should be given more attention, also, is how Israeli Police arrest and torture Palestinian teenagers. Then there have been instances as using them as human shields when returning them, in operations to kill Jihadists. They seem to arrest innocent youngsters to enact their aims to take out people of concern.

Gaza hasn’t had an election for 17 years. The average age there is 18. The general populous have nothing to do with Hamas being in power. In effect, they’re basically a rogue group holding the place hostage.

Israel are basically using the horrific attack of Hamas to carry out an even more horrific attack of their own. We should be surprised that a so called developed country feels the need to murder thousands of incident people, including children, in a revenge attack against people who were nothing to do with the attack against themselves.

It’s sickening what Hamas and the Israel government/army are doing. Genuinely disgusting.

The repugnant, extremist islamic and illegitimate theocracy that has controlled Iran for over 40 years is the problem. Most Iranians know it. Women there are fighting every day for it's removal. Time the menfolk also got on board
So what was the problem before the Iranian revolution? You are ignoring the elephant in the room,

There are 2 solutions either annex all the Palestinian land and grant full citizenship and rights (I.e the same as Israelis) or give the Palestinians a viable state of their own

I don’t know why so many are missing it, arguing about history, who was there first etc, the fact is they either live side by side in a democratic state with equal rights or they live in separate states, you can keep bombing and waging war but until this is solved it’s going to continue
