Middle East Conflict

anyone still defending this?

Nobody is defending it, it’s easier to walk-away and then refer to more PR, when needed.

In fact, they don’t actually want to know, ignoring realiry and won’t see what’s before them.

This is not a religious thing, it’s not about the Jewish community, it’s about what the Israeli government is doing to others.

Obviously second order effects / unintended consequence etc, but I find it quite chilling that a legacy of the holocaust is that we are now all so terrified of crossing the line and being labelled antisemitic that even religious and world leaders can't speak truth to power and call a genocide a genocide.
Sad parallels with some of the truths that were also suppressed about our leaders knowledge of the goings on in Europe prior to the liberation of the human death factories there.
Nail on the head for me. People all over the world are shit scared of calling Netanyahu and Israel out because of what the Nazis did to the Jews during the Holocaust. It reminds me of the lack of criticism in the media for incidents of cuntish behaviour from Liverpool fans because of what happened at Hillsborough.
When you see UN figures of nearly 70% of Gazan fatalities since October 2023 being women and children - and that’s not including all the innocent male citizens who have nothing to do with Hamas being killed as well which pushes that percentage even higher - then that tells me that their response has been totally indiscriminate and that’s putting it mildly.

More media scrutiny being applied to the use of the word 'progrom' by a TV presenter than Israeli foreign policy in it's entirety.

If the media were really scrutinising the word "pogrom" they'd not keep repeating it for this incident. Like they won't keep repeating the word "genocide", or "war crimes".

Oddest is the claim that if you compare anything today with the Holocaust it is "minimising the Holocaust" yet for the Amsterdam incidents the Israeli government can use "pogrom" and "Kristalnacht" without scrutiny.

Dignify and honour Dr Adnan Al-Bursh.

How he ended up in a maximum security prison for prisoners labelled as terrorists and murderers is unfathomable.

It is evident of how even before 7 October, more than 4000 Palestinians are imprisoned without even being convicted for years.

Remember that the youngest prisoner in Israel is a 4 year old boy. In prison.

It seems to me to join the IDF you have to be a rapist - gender doesn't matter ( probably neither does species ) - what the fuck is wrong with them?
