Middlesbrough post-match thread

some super stuff from the Blues today, should have had more goals obviously but some of the build up play down the flanks was excellent. Pretty solid at the back again, Otamendi was good again. A better team than Boro might have made us pay for all those misses before the 2nd though, a petty point perhaps but true.
Who'd have thunk it 20 years ago....a 3rd FA Cup semi in 6 years...

Did the necessary without being at our best. Sergio getting back in the goalscoring-groove, clean sheet will have helped confidence, and no obvious injuries despite some shocking thuggery.

We did it under Pearce for one year and every blue I've ever met considers that season as a pathetic embarrassment. We never tried to injure opposition either, which seemed to be Boro's plan. Utterly shit way of playing and they should be ashamed of themselves

im not saying its an amazing way to play or good to watch. ashamed of themselves? .. if they go all out attack they would easily lose, that was just there game plan.

Great approach play. Terrible finishing. That is the story of our season. We need to improve our finishing.

Sane was quality and even he could have done better today.

Silva MOM for me. Makes us play. That's really been emphasised in last few games.

Best City away support i'v heard in a long time, well done lads and lasses
