Aguero was not booked for removing his shirt
He was according to BBC's match report... Well, booked for something anyway.

Sergio Aguero receives a caution.

It's not in the OS match report though.
I still remember Adam Johnson didn't get a card for removing his shirt when he scored against Newcastle at home in December 2010. He had an RIP message underneath in tribute to his mate Dale Roberts, the Rushden & Diamonds keeper. Good on the players for surrounding him whilst he got his shirt back on and Martin Atkinson for 'not seeing' the shirt removal incident.
that's exactly what he was booked for!
the game you're reffering too was actually Blackpool iirc, in this case i think jonno just lifted his shirt rather than removing it/putting it over is head which is what gets you the yellow card
