mike dean, the man who sent arsene wenger into the pits of hell at old trafford that's how good he is, made the guy stand and be totally abused to such an extent, by the most unsavoury characters of football support, if he had an once of decency he should have resigned and done us all a favour after that, imagine if he had been assaulted by some joker in the stand, not one person went to help arsene or give up their seat, including one of our knights of the realm? mike dean the most sensible referee in britain?

Dean was awfull and very one sided. However I felt we threw away 3 points rather than surrendered them. Some of the players reverted to kick and hope stuff and Lescott became a liability, not through his defending, but due to his poor passing and total lack of attacking play. This was a game that we deserved to win, a rash challenge from Barry flying in and then a dubious and soft penalty, basically a guy throwing himself to the ground. No doom and gloom, out played them, then the various weak links lost the plot and lost their nerve, went for broke, when there was no need to and "gave" the ball to sunderland. When we get our first choice fullbacks back then I believe we will really kick on
Do you really think the referee's are going to be effective when they have shithouse linesmen to work with? Most linesmen dont even flag until the referee has blown his whistle.
I think we just want referees to be consistent, for example Sunderlands penalty, about 10 players were inside the 18-yard box and Mike Dean was even looking for it but he did squat.

for the pen there were 3 city players and bent in the box
the ref is always the decision maker, the lino's help wherever needed and it wasnt the lino's place to give that decision when the ref was much closer

On the highlights on the OS, I can see 4 City players in the box, Bent and another Sunderland player and thats only 1 side, there was obviously more because you seen them running in after it. I'm not saying that it should have been retaken I just think it'd be interesting if Bent missed the penatly what would Mike Dean do?
I'm not on about the linesmen in that particular situation, I meant overall.
