None taken, thank you. :-)I know EB is old but that’s a bit extreme pal (no offence EB, FOL)
Thanks, I just didn’t understand the context.I'm talking very highly thought of city fans.
I've been to 2 funerals where buzzer has come and there was 100s there.
That's what i was suggesting
Your safe EB
The man is a true blue.
Get well soon Buzzer.
Very decent and likable bloke is Mike always had time for people including myself, something I always respected that in him.Takes no shit, Mike.
Remember having to hold him back from chinning that clown Paul Nolan outside the Maine Road entrance after he once slagged Nicky off to his face.
There was hardly anyone around and Paul also told Mike he was shit in Escape to Victory!
Mike lost it at that point and I had to pull him away or he would have done serious damage.
Always a gentleman, would offer to send me to his tailor on Portland Street or sort me out with one of his bespoke, monogrammed shirts.
I didn't have the heart to tell him I was about forty years too young to wear them.
Get well soon, legend.
He lived on North Vale Road just up from the Woodlands Court. My grandparents on my dad's side lived a few doors down on the opposite side of the road. When Buzzer lived in Timperley he used to stop at a bus stop on Altrincham Road just past Brooklands roundabout and pick up some mates of mine on his way to Maine Road. Brilliant bloke.
