If made with a tea bag in a mug, then has to be milk last, the fat molecules in the milk clog up the holes in the bag, stopping the tea flavor from getting out... if a pot is on the go though, i will put the milk in first, out of habit i guess, as thats how my mum did it

What's all this tea bag shit? Proper Tea leaves first, then sugar if required. Boiling water is then poured straightaway from the kettle then stir quickly, let the leaves settle and then add your splash of milk. A bone china cup is best too with a thin lipped rim on it.
