Millwall Fans

i was talking to a millwall fan in manchester the other week (at shambles)

he was a nice chap actually - still, they seem proud of their hooligan status.

I know two wrongs don't make a right but Millwall fans behaviour might have something to do with this:

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/8181831.Police_appeal_after_Crystal_%3Cspan%20class='highlight'%3EPalace%3C/span%3E_%3Cspan%20class='highlight'%3Efans%3C/span%3E_attack_Millwall_supporters/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/8181831. ... upporters/</a>

They just showed the Palace v Millwall highlights on Goals on Sunday and it was indeed a minutes applause for Big Mal yesterday..... not sure how you disrupt that and I have no reason to defend Millwall (being a Spurs fan, they hate us more than City do)....

For what it's worth I was at the game yesterday and I couldn't hear anyone booing during the minutes applause. (there was some "MIIIIIIIIIIL"'' ing but that is a different thing)
Everyone around me was applauding and that is quite a big gesture in itself when you think that Malcolm Allison was associated with the two clubs (West Ham and Crystal Palace) that we hate the most.

If you don't take my word for it have a look at this
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=104074" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=104074</a>

Yes, we get up to all sorts but we wouldn't boo during a minutes silence/applause for a man who died 24 hours before.

it's just not classy.

wherever did you get that idea?

What annoys me most and is perhaps a dangerous thing is that whenever the media report something about millwalls fans, other oppo fans of clubs with CLEARLY strong hooligan eliments attached to them, appear to me to jump on media bandwagons so as to deflect shit from them.
do you still believe that a qpr fan was stabbed? nah millwall fan got a dart to the chest, imagine if it were a qpr fan tho.
was it a bristol city fan put in a coma? nah millwall fan having a quiet drink in Bath.
west ham fan stabbed and put in intensive care? nah millwall fan with his family.
what the media are doing and the police for that matter is freeing everyman and hiis dog to have a go,and they do,everywhere we go,they get it back and complain with everyone on their side.
Don't get me wrong, like minded people can get on with it but the thing is...we do have the odd bod going to watch the game believe it or not and it can't be right that the media have gullible people thinking ALL millwall fans are thugs and fair game.

rant over

enjoy your time...it has come to pass.
