Millwall / Leeds 6000 in EL3 for FAC Cup game - what if?

We can't give any of the Kippax away as it doesn't exist, but when it did there was a time when about a fifth of it was away fans

On another note why on earth would we want to give part of the Kippax away, oh I can see part of the Kop, Stretford End, Leeds Kop etc being given away to the away supporters.

I'd rather they (or United) were put up there, rather than them taking over the SS and our singing fans spread thinly round the ground, turning it into a home game for them.

There is.
we dont HAVE to give them 6000 anyway but if we did just change back to the ss
I know this, but the level 3's hold around 6,000

Actually we have to give around 15% for domestic cup games if they want it. This was confirmed at POB last week and they also confirmed EL3 wouldn't be big enough on it's on to service domestic cup games. EL3 holds 5,500.

I stand corrected on the figure, however I was correct that it wasn't big enough to use for a cup game should demand exist from the away team.

I though clubs could get away with giving a bit less than 15% if it meant allocating them a distinct part of the stadium? City dont get a full 15% at OT do we?

For those fans and the club that think moving EL3 fans out of their seats and putting the away fans up there. What happens when we draw someone like Millwall or Leeds at home and have to give them 6000 seats, do we get moved again while they use the SS again.

Just a thought

Newcastle have had the away fans up in the gods for the last 10 years or so and as far as I'm aware there hasn't been any major problems.

yes but we are talking about Leeds, they're in a category of their own. Wouldn't like to be below that lot.

No , neither would i .......

aside from the rags , Leeds have to be the worst set of scum to be found in the entire country!

only if you have a part of the ground that can be safely seggerated and the police agree

There is no way they would put Millwall in level 3. It was mental when they crossed over in the North stand at Maine road. They banned us for the return at the den and we haven't played em since. If we happened to draw Millwall in the FA Cup, there would be kicking off both inside and outside the stadium. Just to be on safe side, put any fans like Leeds, Rags, Burnley etc in South stand, which I'm sure they would.

It would help with any pitch invasion

We have that now, its another of the considerations. At OT they have to give
several parts of the ground for cup games as we know from last season.
