Milner or Nasri?

If it has to be only one, 100% Nasri.

I like Milner as a guy and certainly as a professional. I value his 100% commitment, but as a player he is overrated imho. His control is average at best, his shooting likewise, passing likewise. His big attribute is boundless energy, but that's hardly something to be excited about.

Nasri is a better player in virtually every department.

Does Milner work harder than Nasri?

I'm not sure about that myself. Nasri works his arse off and despite what many people think, he isn't scared of putting himself about either.

Nasri is better in every department

Personally I'd let Milner leave in a heartbeat over Nasri. Samir is just a much better player, and he works hard !

Nasri has had a few good games since back from injury and few average ones. He was bang average before he got injured. If he consistently performed at the level he can I would have no argunent, but he doesn't.

He was top class last year before that Yanga-Mbya c**t did his ligaments and was playing through an injury that eventually required surgery at the start of this season. Since returning from surgery he's been one of our best players.

Let's phrase this question differently, if both had the same length of contract left and the same wages and we transfer listed both, who do you think would have more suitors and who do you think we'd receive the highest transfer fee for?

Milner, because of the quota. It seems a lot of posters are missing main point of my post. Milner leaves, he needs replacing with another England player, which will undoubtedly be for an extortionate price. He won't stay unless he is going to get games IMO, therefore something has to give. Nasri isnt that good that he is indespensible and has to be kept.

But then we sell Nasri, and we need to replace him with another top class player on the same level as him, that will cost at least £30 million

It appears that perhaps you don't really see what Nasri brings to the team, which is a common mistake amongst a lot of blues

We'd spend an awful lot more replacing Nasri with a like-for-like. If Milner went at the end of the season, as much as I'd like him to stay, I'd be happy to see Lopes take his spot and I'd be confident of silverware. If Nasri left and was replaced by the same player, I'd be having a heart attack every time Silva got tackled. Nasri is a better finisher, a better passer, has better creativity, he's stronger, he's mentally on a wavelength with Yaya and Silva that Milner isn't and matches Milner in terms of workrate, winning the ball, closing down and covering ground. He's the far superior player. Just look at our starting XI when everyone's fit. Nasri plays, Milner sits on the bench.

Yeah, but at least the player will actually be worth the price. Prices for English players are ridiculous...20+ mill for Rodriguez

I think because this group of players has won us a few trophies, were kind of attached to them and see them as one of us. Therefore it's hard to let go one of them. I'll be honest and say both Nasri and milner are replaceable for better players to come in.

Out of both of them, I'd keep milner. I do love them both though and it would be a shame if either of them left, seeing as what they have achieved with us.

Yes and that's why he is leaving. Milner was one of our best players when Nasri was injured for Gods sake, half of what youve written is bullshit. Nasri is a better finisher and is stronger? Jesus Christ

But you're assuming that if we let Milner go he HAS to be replaced by a £20-£30 million homegrown player, which just isn't the case.

Do you actually watch Nasri play? How many times have you ever seen him knocked off the ball? As for finishing, go watch his winner against Chelsea in the 2012 run in, his goal against Swansea at home last season, his opener against West ham on the last day of last season, the goal that put us ahead in the Carling Cup final.
