Milner

He ran himself into the ground last night. While his passing wasnt always great thought he was one of the better performances. Love the fact that he can drop intorightback if needed. Hope he's not too knackered for Sunday, he's going to be important to help control the midfield.
James Milner is currently the best performing player at Manchester City Football Club. He has been at this level of performance for about ten weeks now. Jimmy, i salute you!

[if he doesn't win City Player of the Month for November it will be a travesty!]

Ha Ha Ha - well spotted.

He clearly meant 'industrious' but that's the way it's going nowadays - most people wouldn't even have noticed it, sad to say. Or perhaps I should have said (in the style of most Bluemoon posters):

''Your right. Their thick nowadays. He should of wrote it properly.''

;o)

I had my doubts about him but, with a quarter of a season gone, he's been fantastic. Easily the best English midfielder in the league, so far - and by some distance (including the very solid but deeply uninspiring Scott Parker).

(Christ, I know he has two or three years on them but imagine if Spearing or Cleverly had just put in that start to the season... we'd never hear the end of it).

Maybe it went against him with some fans that his name didn't end in a,o, or i.

;)

Milner had a great 1st half. Tired in 2nd half and never tracked back for 2nd goal, check out the highlights. Ya Ya was just as guilty( 2nd goal) and looked bolloxed the whole game.
