Minder Vs Only Fools

Both enjoyable but I would go with Minder.... Terry always nailed a top bird usually years younger than him especially as he was no oil painting and he was hard as nails sorting 2/3 heavies at a time when he was no more than 11 stone wet through and in his 40s haha

It can still be caught on ITV 4 during the week

And If you think it was bad also when Gary Webster took over from Terry have a look at the recent remake staring Shane Ritchie as Arthur grandson or summat now that was shite

Yeah that remake was terrible, should have left it alone, same with only fools.

I really like chisom in Minder, him and his partner were always trying to nail Arthur.

Really hard to compare both shows. One was more belly laughter for all the family, the other was more for the adults, subtle and dry humour with a bit of tits and violence
 
Both top series but Only Fools edges it for me.

Shouldn't knock Only fools just because of a couple of dodgy Xmas specials.

i had forgotten about the remake. I managed to watch 10 minutes of the 1st remake and had to turn it off, it was terrible. If i remember right it was on channel 5. Any idea how many episodes they did?

I think they only did 1 series thank God...I managed the 1st episode that was enough for me
 
Apples and oranges really.
Fools is up there with the very best which includes Blackadder and Fawlty Towers neither of which you'd ever compare to Minder.
Minder was ok but did the spine of it ever change?
ie. Arthur does dodgy deal with some wrong'ns Terry sorts the heavies out and they all drink happily ever after in The Winchester.
It was ok at first but for me it drowned itself in its repetition.
