Mini-Etihad Terraces: The Possibilities

This is whetting the apetite, proper terracing, nice brand new stadium and skilled football players playing proper entertaining footie that shouldn't be all that expensive and it is city...Proper chants, banter and not getting stuck next to some fucker you cant stand. Almost back to the good old days.

Then again, we could form our own club, build a new stadium, get cheap match tickets, stand on the terraces, and watch some of the most exciting youth players in the World.

On second thoughts, FCUM! ;-)

On a serious note, we could start something good on that terrace. Something from scratch, where everyone is equal and can join in.

This will become a cult gathering every match with 3000 blues crammed on one terrace and they will think " hang on this isn't safe, best put some seats in" haha

It would be a shame if if EDS games didn't regularly attract a minimum 2,000 people per game and i'm being very kind there, should attract 5,000 per game if we want to be holistic and all that.

If they time the games right, Pre home game noon kick offs the early arrivals could get a couple of games in and they'd be well attended.

I know it's only a mini-stadium [though large enough for most clubs in the lower leagues], but this would be an ideal opportunity to install safe standing on the German model, and it could be trialled here in real action. If it works, we could be active campaigners for it throughout the English game, and if it doesn't, the seats just need to be lowered at no cost.

If City have got any sense the EDS or under 18s should have games on the same day as the 1st team kicking off a few hours before the 1st team
They should put a huge city square style thing there maybe even indoors with fast food outlets all the way round it offering all sorts of food and drink with a big fuck off eating and drinking area at reasonable prices
Maybe even put some sort of kids soft play thing or mini football attractions going on
Try and turn a 90 minute game of football into a proper day out for the family and fans from 10 in the morning till a hour after the 1st team at 6pm on a saturday think of the revenue they could generate

You'd almost think they'd planned it that way :-)
