Don't agree with them

You should have a minutes silence as a point of quite reflection

Not let the fucking idiots that might ruin it win

That's all

*Thanks Malcom

But if we have a silence and the idiots disrupt it they do win. because the silence hasn't been observed.

Better to have an applause, it's a mark of respect and it can't be ruined.

A minutes applause cannot be ruined by someone remaining silent.

Silence can be ruined by any idiot wanting to sabvotage the intended respect.

it's a sad reflection on modern football fans that this necessity is prevalent these days.

Clapping drowns out the nobheads who boo and sing over the silence.

Not all the Arsenal fans were clapping. Does that mean they would have booed? You can't take the risk.

No, I honestly thionk they would have respected it.

Im pretty sure that's no the reason behind doing it though. Death doesn't always have to be a somber affair.

I think it shows an appreciation for the departed's life rather than a sadness that they have gone and I think think that's much nicer. Wonderful to hear a stadium erupt with such emotion rather than hear a polite silence.

Much prefer the silence, don't particulary like the modern way of applause.
