minutes silence

Wasn't it because some people were disrespecting the silence (not sure which stadium) that people started applauding instead of silence? Just asking, thinking out loud.
1st ones i can remember doing that was the Dippers AT Arsenal a while back,what right did they have to hijack another teams grief at the other teams ground ffs....they just can't help themselves...must have felt all left out.....
 
I am trying to make that point, but a bit flippantly.
It's the snowball effect and needs stopping before it crushes the sentiment.
Twice a year is the only sensible option. One for Remembrance sunday and one at years end for everybody else.

This for me, unless someone of real importance to the club/fans or maybe the Country dies.
 
It’s that time of year when the far right yonners and Gammons who oppose players taking an anti-racism stance will all be sharing Facebook images of a poppy photoshopped into a Stone Island badge and then popping over to Twitter to hurl some sectarian abuse at James McClean
