Pjanic is definitely not happening for City, Pep doesn't lie - if he comes out in a pressy and says there is no interest then that is the case. Duplicity is something other coaches engage in
 
I love how Pep has exposed the Italian press for what they are class A bullshitters just like the rest.

Seems as though City's standing is such in the game now, our name is even being used in contract negotiations for plenty of top players.

Yeah because backing his players and outright lying about a transfer target are one and the same.
 
Txiki and our recruiting team must have been stung by "gazumped deals" for Alves, Sanchez and Jorginho. We openly worked on the deals for months and had apparent agreements, ignored when more attractive rival propositions were received.

We will try and keep potential transfers as secret as possible, (Italian club's seem particularly hard to deal with).

I would be very surprised if we are prepared to bid enough for Pjanic. If Juve do sell, they will want a competitive auction scenario to get the highest price. We don't engaged in auctions.
