Mirror say Ade should be banned for at least 4 games

Addy was taunted from the moment he entered the field of play! FACT! He did celebrate in front of the arsenal fans, but he never left the field of play. These yobs then started fighting amongst themselves and throwing objects at addy.FACT! Whilst it may have been a tad stupid, i can guarantee that even if he had celebrated in front of the city fans, these ferrel yobs would have still been up for it. So when an arsenal fans representative would like addy banned then while were at it the arsenal fans should be banned from travelling away from home. So whilst addy may have been stupid, it has happened many many times before gary neville (liverpool) rooney at city last year.Addy did not do any more than celebrate whilst these yobs were fighting and throwing missiles. So my letter to the F.A would be use your bloody nouse! something they do not normally have.

As much as Adebayors actions left a lot to be disired yesterday , Van Persies part in the 'stamping' incident should not go unnoticed by the authorities ..... if he hadn't of lunged in recklessly the way he did causing Adebayor to lose balance the incident probably wouldn't have happened at all ....... what we saw then was the actions of a footballer who completely saw 'red' about the initial rash challenge on him.

Van Persie came off worse , and Adebayors 'stamp' was needless ..... but Van Persie should be big enough to admit his part in that incident ..... he dived in , and he knows it too!

It would be good if when the FA came out of their meeting, the assembled journalists asked how many games they had given him, 4 comes the reply, "the dirty cheating rapist Dutch bastard". Not going to happen is it?

No ..... it won't happen.

Van Persie's playing the innocent , injured party here when , in truth , he was 'fired up' and dived into that tackle on Adebayor , causing the entire incident to happen ........ if Adebayor DID stamp on him as a result then that only backs up the feeling that he too thought Van Persie had been reckless ........ he shouldn't have responded , we all know that , but it was the heat of the moment.

"Footballers get paid a lot of money to perform on a public stage so it is not realistic to judge players and fans on the same standards."

a bit like when you let off the murderer because his mummy didnt love him enough then...............

ive heard it all now, if your gonna hold adebayor accountable for the crowds reaction then thats like saying the arsenal fans have no mind of their own, no free will..............why not put this question to the head of the arsenal supporters club

"so basically you lot are like animals with no brain cells and cant be responsible for any of your actions"

based on his logic that i read with disgust above he would have to say - "yeah, thats right".....

so i guess if one of these precious precious arsenal fans went out onto the street after the match and beat someone up they could be excused as it was still down to anger provoked by adebayor.....not their fault.........

i tell you my favourite bit in all this is the fact that they are so thick they cant see their hypocracy. their OWN logic claims that the crowd reacted violently because they were provoked, surly therefore ade can be excused for his reaction as he was provoked. No, well thats double standards then. he slid infornt of them after 80 minutes of abuse about his mother and himself, didnt leave the field of play........RVP charges towards our fans, swearing his head off like a lunatic and it isnt highlighted because our fans have some class and simply took it as part of the heat of battle. we are being punished because of the arsenal fans reaction...........

Here's my reply to the dogging tosser.I'm sick of the twat-he slags us off non-stop at every opportunity. The guy is a fucking total nob head.
It'll never get printed but I feel better for it...;-)

What a load of self-righteous waffle from the new king of sensationalist radio.
The Arsenal fans were taunting Ade from the moment he stepped on the pitch..they spent more energy in 90 minutes throwing abuse than they did backing their team.
On the pitch,Van Persie's two-footed challenge from behind was a disgrace-I see you didn't pay much attention to it during yet another tedious attempt to lambast us on your show. They were taking it in turns to kick lumps out of him-again,no mention from yourself.
After he scored,Van pussy ran to the City fans and mouthed "F-off you b-stards" several times-again no mention from yourself. This was obviously before Ade scored.
Not one of our fans reacted by throwing either coins or chairs at either the stewards or Van Persie. We would be within our rights to report him to GMP-but I honsetly doubt anyone would. We tend to have thicker skins at City.

The Arsenal fans hounded Ade out of their club-Wenger has said as much. They were intent on verbally attacking him from the begining of the match-in the spur of the moment,he did what he did.Wrong yes-but the ridiculously over-the-top,childish one-sided outbursts from the likes of yourself do nothing other than inflame the situation.
Gary Neville, after admitting in an article he "hated" Scousers then, proceede to run the length of the pitch to taunt the Liverpool fans was simply fined. No 5 game bans,no ridiculously over the top garbage-again,not very much from yourself.

But then as with the Lescott situation,Robinho, pretty much everything we do at City-you seem to have a major problem with it and slag us off at every opportunity. You haved the benefit of a national platform to air your biased, myopic knee-jerk views-we don't.

You won't print this I know-but at least I have had my say.

Now shut up.

The more i think about what has happened the more i can see the trouble we are in. The FA Chairman Ian Watmore (An Arsenal fan) personally witnessed it and is going to fry him.

Can't believe this is happening to us at the start of the season. It would have been way more professional if he kept his cool, we don't need this, Hughes' face didn't look impressed as he pretty much new the immedite consequences, Ade has selfishly goosed us, we are Tevez and Robinho down, now him. Not good for the derby and we should be all guns blazing, shame it has come to this.

I hate mondays any way and tommorrow is going to be bad as we wait for the verdict.

All i can say is..... Shit.

Sick of this twat-mongering, now. We are going to win the league so the Minger can

FUCK

RIGHT

OFF!

Just wanna say im not a man city fan..ive only really followed football for a few years but I just cannot believe the way the media is handling this.

Ive always found the media to be very very biased in this country and only portray a side to issues that they want (ie.certain ethnic minorities, certain places). The way this Ade thing has been portrayed is RIDICULOUS..

I say as someone who doesnt know much bout the sport and is a neutral-
Whats wrong with what he did??..

I really didnt think he did anything wrong. Hes been jeered by the arsenal supporters non stop near the end of his arsenal career, hes been slated ever since he left and he was abused non stop while he was playing. The abuse was racial and disgusting (certain reports talk bout him being called the n word and his dad washes "elephants").

For a start, hes on 100k a week so if his dad is washing anything, its a ferrari those chavs wont ever afford.

Anyway , I digress- point is, when he showed what a footballer he is and got his own back- he had EVERY RIGHT to stick his own middle finger back at the arsenal supporters. Ive always been taught as a child by my parents never to dish it out if im too much of a pus*y to take it back. Ive got no respect for the arsenal fans who werent man enough to take it back.

I hear arguments that he should have been a professional footballer and behaving in that manner wasnt professional- but what exactly does being a professional footballer mean??..
Did his man city contract state that he should have to face racist abuse at work??.
Being professional has nothing to do with taking that sort of abuse and getting on with it.

I hear he was "inciting a riot"....surely the arsenal fans were asking to be provoked and if they riot-its still their fault completely. Besides, if ade is in the wrong to be "passionate" and do what he did, then surely so are the arsenal fans for passionately rioting and attacking a steward.

Id like to finish off by saying that there is a certain dislike and a fu*k man city attitude in the press. The facts that the arabs have bought success mean that city cant do anything right and I dont understand why theres so much dislike for city- I love the fact that the top 4 is being challenged by city (and spurs) and think well have an interesting season.
Keep it up Adebayor

Agreed, whatever the provocation, Ade could very well have ruined our great start by his actions against Arsenal, getting a lengthy ban is one thing, getting it whilst Tevez, Robinho & RSC are all out injured too is going to hurt us badly.
I know Van Persie & the Gooner fans are no innocents in all this but Ade & the club will be the only ones who come out of this badly.
