Missing Blues?

Any suggestions as why possibly the biggest game City have played in years, depending on your definition (I don't actually think it was), saw a stadium that has regularly sold out and been full of blues for many differing standards of football - including crap served up by Pearce - suddenly full of a massive percentage of obvious tourists with no real passion for the club.

I am genuinely baffled.

That was not a Manchester City crowd that I recognised tonight. There must be thousands of regular, match going blues or semi-regular match going blues who were not at the game tonight and were replaced by tourists.

Genuinely felt like it was Old Trafford and the ground was, to a significant degree, full of people there to watch a show. That is not good imo. The camera crap is a particular bugbear of mine.

Never mind York away. Were they there at Villa at home?

Suggestions? Where had the missing, usual blues gone tonight?

The sight of our lads doing their warm up and then Madrid players came out to warm up and about (literally) two hundred fuckers with their cameras all rush over the where Madrid were; genuinely embarrassed me.

Some of them were clambering over seats to get a good spot. One bloke shouted "oi our lads are over there" but they didn't have a clue what he was saying.

Where were our fans?

I found it amusing as all the Chinese rushed down the steps near me to photo Ronaldo and friends as they were warming up. Regular next to me was fuming about it, to be fair they were ignorant as f*ck, blocking the way in and out of aisles and generally having no respect for the regular match-goers, only interested in getting their photos. So on one hand they helped fill the stadium, on the other they are annoying and ignorant. One of them I saw had a Real f*cking Madrid shirt on, I tapped him on the shoulder and told him he should be over there (where the lousy Madrid supporters were).

Try getting a ticket for tonight on a "Blue" membership - season ticket "holders" who go three times a year and put their seats on Viagogo for the rest to sell to highest bidder. Then those who can afford a ST come on here and act all sniffy and smug - get to fook.

I was half dreading the game as I knew we were on our way out

had we had a real chance of going through it would have been very different

If season ticket holders dont take up their seats then others will get them, and why not

There's a fair bit of snobbery going on here. They turned up, the regulars watched it on TV.
