Not really. Another average player like Milner. We simply just did not control play. A midfield issue not a defense one.

I would say he is just above average, not as good as Vincent but to say today's issue was a midfield one and not a defence one is a bit silly. Did you see the goals that we conceded....yes we did not control midfield in the same way that we have in the past but the defending was shocking, we have missed our two central defenders. VC looked rusty today.

The actual goals might have not come from the midfield, even though the 1st and 2nd could be said to have. The real issue was how confident Sunderland was on the ball. They saw enough of the ball for them to grow and play a confident gam. This is the real problem. Teams who barely possess the ball are never this confident. Some dude did a Rabona inside our box. That is the kind of shit you do when you are having a confident games. They passed the ball into our net on the second. Again, another example of confidence from seeing too much of the ball.
