Is this Mancini's failing? He is used to the Italian bore fest football played at one pace.

So far not one of his signings has blistering pace, Johnson and Balo are ok but we don't have any pace out wide or up front.

IF we manage top 4 this needs to be addressed badly.

It's by far our biggest flaw. It should have been addressed in January.

What am I missing?

Balotelli is a centre-forward, and AJ a winger?

I dont think you can find two more exciting young players in the Premiership and this is used to justify the posters claim of bore fest football. Well Done

Chelsea haven't anyone who runs at defenders and terrorises them with their pace and yet they seem to have done pretty well over the last few seasons, but the difference is that Chelsea move the ball around at pace

Malouda, Cole, Anelka. Pace throughout that side

Agree with that. Our midfield seem to always roll the ball around instead of pinging their passes with some zip. It slows the game to a crawl.

Not this season and its one of the reasons they too have struggled. Lots of possession going sideways and back but very little penetration going forward.

Sounds familiar....
