MLS Final Sun 7th - New England Revs v LA Galaxy

Re: MLS Thread 2014

Cue the Donovan love-fest now. All his teammates coming out and saying "We want to win this for Landon..."

Hope the Revs ram it down their throats on Sunday.

I didn't see anything special in the Galaxy to fear...... sure the crowd will be 99.4% LA but the Revs have a great momentum going since Jones signed.......
Go Revs!

Just got home (I live 16 or so miles from Foxboro) - great day and atmosphere - someone sent me a text saying it was on BT Sport in the UK.
Over the two games the Revs deffo deserved to go through - though I thought the Rag Bulls played better today than last week.
Tailgate party afterwards was very good..... dancing and singing in the ''parking lot''.

Viva le Revolution

The question is, MES, who will you support next season when NYCFC is up and running?

NYCFC or New England Revolution?

The Revs.
Took me 3 years of living here to finally feel like the Revs were ''my team'' and I felt comfortable cheering for a team that wasn't City - so I cant get too excited about a team (whatever the City connections are) playing 200 miles away and with no history either.
It will be strange when they play each other...... funnily enough, a Revs chant to the Rag Bull fans tonight was ''Soon you'll be City fans, soon you'll be City fans.....''
When the chant died down I shouted ''what's wrong with that?'' to a few laughs around me

I'd forgotten it's that far between Boston and NYC.

Can't fault your logic.

Come on the Revs!

Re: MLS Thread 2014

Today is the final - LA Galaxy v New England Revolution - one off game at Galaxy's ground.
8pm KO time in the UK. I know last weeks Revs semi final was on BT Sport so imagine it will be the same this week??

I know a couple of Boston Blues who have flown to LA and BlueMoon's very own Hollywood Blue will be there too.
I'm watching in some bar in Providence, Rhode Island

A lot of the attention has focused on it being Landon Donavon's last game which has suited The Revs. In the play off's The Revs have won both away games so quietly confident of a Revs win.
The main thing about the Revs doing so well is the local media have had to take note and report on them. I've seen them on the local news more times this week than in 3 years put together! Bringing the trophy home will have them sitting around the same table as The Rag Sox, Patriots, Bruins and Celtics.

Up The Revs!
