Im not bothering to read it - Why are we interested in who they are signing - especially as we've absolutely no interest in signing him ourselves? He's overrated..............

We definitely have to come in with a false bid just to drive the price up. Modric is the player they need, they need to be forced to get someone less established for their central midfield addition.

I reckon they'll get him for reported 25m to 30m Chelsea didn't offer 40m it was around 30m.. If the rags were going for hazard in the 30m bracket there's no reason they dont have the money for him.. wages wise Modric is on around 65k... So if they get him that's two deals with combined layout fee+wages of around 90 to 100m over the contract of those two players

£25m are they having a laugh...they really are desperate over at the swamp,. No way will Daniel Levy allow modric to go for that amount.

Anyway agree with earlier posts, Modric goes missing in the big games and he is no way better than Silva.

Granted its the Daily Fail but whilst you may think you dont want to sign him Bobby fancies him. If I'm not mistaken he was our number one target back in March?!
