Only worry is if bale is one of our top targets and Spuds sell Modric they will be even less likely to want Bale to go as well, although bale may want to leave

This really cant see Modric being sold especially to another prem team - Levvy will know that once Modric goes Bale is likely to follow, VdV would also be in question and i really cant see ade staying
I think they key is rednapp - if he does not sign a new contract then i can see players moving on but not this season
There would be fookin uproar at the Spuds

Granted its the Daily Fail but whilst you may think you dont want to sign him Bobby fancies him. If I'm not mistaken he was our number one target back in March?!

Bobby 'fancies' him - whats that mean exactly? Far too vague.
Mancini (bobby?) probably admires a lot of footballers. If the question is phrased "Do you think Modric is a good player"? He would probably answer "yes" - that isnt the same thing as saying he wants to sign him.
I think its fair to say that there is more chance of Ronaldo ending up in our shirt. Its just not going to happen - and a good thing too.

'Arry not happy they aren't showing him the love, Champs Leg stolen away by Chelsea, sounds like years before they will be in a stadium that churns money, none of the big name players want to stay at a club seemingly going nowhere, and they just might lose Modric, Bale and VDV to better offers in the pre-season.
They needed to get into the Champs League and have 'Arry get the England job, so they could get in someone to take them on. If they do lose those three AND Twitcher goes, they will be up the creek!
Ade, Johnson and $10M sweetener for Bale might do the trick! 5 year contract will give him a nice pay day and he will still be young enough to go to Barca or Madrid (if they are still able to compete with us!) in 4 years for a decent fee and another nice 4-5 year deal to end his career....if he keeps it up.
That would be like paying Spurs to takeover the two contracts for a year, while paying Bale £5M, plus £25M for Martinez, plus £5M in wages for him and we are done for next season for £45M INCLUDING wages! Get rid of the deadwood wages, if possible, and we are looking much, much better financially.

This. He's good player and will improve them but this could be the bigger problem. Can't see Levy selling both of them.
