MODS ... Do we have a problem

Its taken more than 10 minutes to log in and the site is so ssssllllooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww.
Are we having some maintenance work carried out as of today @ 11.30 onwards ?

I`ve just managed to get back on again ... but boy its bloody slow.I don`t have any problems logging onto any other sites,ie E-Bay,OS,BBC News etc.

'Delete all board cookies' should always be your first port of call but this maybe at the server end.

Apologies, there's an issue with one of the ads (hence why it's only happening intermittently). I'm chasing it up with the ad company as we speak.
