Moenchengladbach tickets on sale

I agree with RDOG. A lot of people can only just afford their Season Cards so don't bother with Cup Schemes or most cup games, and teh fact half the South Stand was sat down with Kids showed that there were lot of non-SC holders turning up in half term. The Hull game will see less families as it is not half term, which 4th round always is.

It was £45 for adults there behind the goal in the league v City, the reverse will be almost £60. City haven't too much to be smug about.

United charge £13 for U16 wherever the seat is, which puts us to shame compared to our league prices.

So that's £247 for the season. I wonder how much it is for a kid per season paying
"All these people that can't afford to take their family to watch City play Dippers/Rags/Arsenal etc , why didn't they take advantage of cheap tickets vs Palace and fill the stadium?"

They likely do.

It's the plastic whoppers and football tourists who aren't interested in an early round unglamorous league cup tie, the type that won't mind paying through the nose to attend a one off 'glamorous' league fixture against a top four side though.

They're the type who create this artificial demand for tickets which the club can exploit to charge actual blues much more.

I genuinely feel sorry for those that can't accommodate a season ticket due to work/family/cost, and have to make do attending individual league fixtures.

They're paying through the fucking nose because the club is exploiting an increased ticket demand from plastics and football tourists.

More likely they dont!

A lot of s/c fans near me didn't bother vs Palace, plenty of tourists though complete with taking fotos on iPhones/pads bloody selfie sticks!

Plenty of spare seats in the Ronald McDonald Stand where the missing families were.

Bugs me seeing empty seats at the so called 'less glamorous' games when people bleat on about not being able to afford to get tickets for themselves and their families as they are being priced out.

You are going to see City ffs so take advantage of the cheaper tickets!

Nice anecdotal example.

I can give you my own. Regular season ticket holder near me brought his young son with him and several of his mates, which he doesn't usually.

I dont ,just some sort of consistency it carnt be right to vary from £36 to £1
It seems for the big games they would rather have an adult than a kid in

No shit mate! You're not gonna get kids tickets the same price for liverpool as you do for MGB, that's just not the way life works. It's the same for adults - 20 quid for MGB but 50 odd or something for liverpool. That's life!

This is the point I'm trying to make those kids are our future support say they thought it was great and wanted to go the next game could dad afford to do it again ?
Adult prices are no better or worse than other teams ,but I don't get why they need to try and screw the kids for every penny especially when they would be bringing an adult with them.
S/c are fantastically priced for kids but people forget its not just the £125 for the kids ticket but £500 for the adult who brings them.

Got six tickets in the Family Stand for colleague at work, went with husband, son and 3 of his mates (£34 in total). It was the first time all six had been to the Etihad and the first game at a big ground as they'd been watching Radcliffe Borough. The lads loved it especially "the choir!!" at the opposite end. They've already been in touch for Hull and Monchengladbach tickets.

These lads and those like them will fill the smaller games in the future and hopefully their kids will be taking my seat when I turn my toes up.

Not sure if we are agreeing or disagreeing here ?
All those clubs make it dead simple you know in July what clubs are what catagory and how much you will pay.
What differs is they don't seem to give kids concessions in other stands bar the designated family areas
All those clubs are not charging £36 for kids the dippers for example are £15 £10 and £5
Even arsenal and Chelsea are cheaper.
City do so many good /fantastic things but I think how they make prices up as they go along is not one of them.
I'm sure most of us started coming with our parents then when we had the bug we carried on coming on our own and now bring are own kids.if we make it too expensive to bring the kids in the first place where does that leave us going forward ?
£1 £5 cup games are fantastic but when the kid wants to go next time and its £36 and dad says sorry the kid finds something else to do on a Saturday.
Plus if the kids come mum and dad come too at full price
They're charging considerably more if there's no room in the Family areas and I'll bet most of those areas are sold as S/Ts - I'm not sure how that equates to "Arsenal and Chelsea are cheaper",

It's not a big deal, if less people go it means the prices come down for us that do go! It doesn't bother me if there is a row of empty seats in the Family Stand!

This game will involve something to play for - we'll have to win to assure finishing top of our group!

Not if we beat juve?

I was more worried about Seville away,if we set up and perform like we did in Andalucia then we'll win.
True! The way we set up against Seville was perfect for that type of game and it showed. Juve always seem to keep a game close though. It works well against the good sides (Like us at our place) but causes problems against the lesser teams you'd expect them to beat (BMG being a good example).

We 'should' beat Juve away if you compare our teams but it won't be easy and barely any teams win all 3 away games in the group stage!

That's the spirit!

Even if we win though the coefficient points of a win vs monchengladbach will do us good and still make it meaningful to an extent
haha,

I still think we'll top the group even if we lose to Juve, I can't see them beating Seville, and I think we'll beat BMG. Would be nice to beat Juve then play some fringe players and a couple of youngsters in the last game though!

Twice a season, as in once at the swamp, the other being the return fixture at the Etihad?

:)

Yup.

He made a post the other day, 'look how far we've come'. Then showed the crowd vs Mansfield compared to what we have now. Like that Mansfield crowd was at all comparable to the crowds we were getting back then.

No, I'm paying £22 a game including platinum, bloody brilliant price, and best view I've ever had.

Our league ticket prices are a disgrace, the individual ticket prices.

£50 is fairly average for us nowadays. £60 and above isn't uncommon for the big games.

Along with the £35 membership and the much more expensive cost of under 16 tickets to boot, yes, they're a disgrace.

Also, just because you're one of the lucky few who got your hands on a £300 season ticket doesn't mean that's a typical price for a season ticket at City. It's not.

I'm paying £42 a game for my season ticket at £800, including the platinum fee, which didn't count for anything as the club gave the corporates almost half of our allocation for our biggest game of the season at the swamp the other week, and I missed out on a ticket for the first time in years.

The wider trend at City is one of shitting on the core support in pursuit of the £, about time some of you lot recognised this.
