I’d take him if Sterling leaves and it frees up a space in the squad. I actually think Salah is a terrific player who Pep could make even better. He was outstanding in the second half of that 2-2 draw at theirs last October. I think Mane is quality too but Salah was the one who pretty much single handedly took it to us that day.

Talk of him coming to us is academic though I reckon. If Liverpool do decide to sell him, there’s not a chance they’ll sell him to us. He’ll go abroad.
