Mohammed Kudus

Very strong, fast with the ball and flashes of technical brilliance. Only just turned 24 so plenty of potential in there. Would need someone like Bernardo to leave though before we could think about it.

A small point that might go against signing him is that we would run the risk of losing him to the African Cup of Nations. The 2025-26 competition is to be held in Dec/Jan, which is a congested month on the domestic calendar, though the 2027 competition is due to be played in the summer. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but a consideration when planning.

Disagree. He’s nowhere near as good off the ball. He’s a better Nunes.
The problem here starts with hoping for a 1:1 replacement . Grealish isn’t a player like Sané as an example. We went from 2 speedsters on the wing to ball holding wingers to 2 speedster again. Kudus is the closest thing to Bernardo right now. „ a better nunes“. Nunes hasn’t done anything near the class of Kudus. Neither do they play the same position.

Disagree. He doesn’t have the work ethic to be an elite player.

Kudus is being used on the left at the moment by West Ham, but I think to get the very best out of him you would have to play him more centrally, probably in the same sort of position as Foden. He’s taller and physically stronger than Foden, but he’d cost a lot (arrived for 38 million) and we already have Bobb to incorporate in there, too. Since he settled, around Christmas, Kudus has basically played 90 minutes in every game, so he’s not work shy.
