I was suggesting we buy Kudus last summer, (although I did spell his name as Kudos!), he had better underlying stats than Paqueta and Doku. He was available for less than Doku but West Ham will want more now.

Kudus has a much better end product than Doku.

while Kodus is the West Ham darling, and their only real option, take a good look at Newcastle's previous darling Allan Saint-Maximin, it is relative to expectation. Doku is by far the better, but he has to fit in with us rather than us with him, the long term Doku has a chance of being a superstar, and i can tell you now i have seen Doku, turn in some worldies before he came to us, were as Kudos will always flatter to deceive, he simply does not need to do more.

Was that Doku`s first start on the right?, i thought he played okay but the system was wrong, and i have watched both before they came to England, try getting Doku`s first game against PSG, one of the best performances by a right winger, almost single handed destroyed PSG. the only other display was Bergwijn vs Germany. Do not know what the stats say as it looks like Doku is the better player, especially as he has not been on the side losing 4 nil, which gives an indication of the higher standards.

Stats like this can be misleading. Often when Doku is picking up the ball on the wing he's got no space to run in to because the other team has every man behind the ball and two men marking him. Meanwhile Kudus is picking the ball up in deeper positions with space in behind and a chance to run at just the full back.

Doku has shown he has the ability. Given a bit more time to adapt to peps demands he'll come good. He's got half decent numbers already in the league with 3 goals and 7 assists. Next season I can see him reaching double figures for both

Doku didn’t have a good game but the whole team bar 3 defenders were awful. It was a complete one off for us to barely get him the ball in decent positions to attack. It’s true he’s good coming on from the bench but if you look at his most recent starts before that game he’s played well. Good against Newcastle in the cup, even better against Villa(on the right) and superb against Luton.

Doku didn’t have a good game but the whole team bar 3 defenders were awful. It was a complete one off for us to barely get him the ball in decent positions to attack. It’s true he’s good coming on from the bench but if you look at his most recent starts before that game he’s played well. Good against Newcastle in the cup, even better against Villa(on the right) and superb against Luton.

It was the system that didn’t work as Forest surprised us with a back 5.

We didn’t play with wingers from the start against Wolves. Maybe that’ll change against Fulham, but it’d surprise me.

To be fair, ASM was always a maverick at Newcastle and one that it was quite obvious was brilliant until a shit final product. He was just Newcastle fans' main source of enjoyment amongst the other players they had.

Kudus is different, he's fantastic. But don't think he'd be one for us. Liverpool written all over him IMO once Salah goes.

liverpool will try to tap up, but the price West Ham paid for him is his standard, and his expected price tag is way too much for them, probably us as well
