Monaco post match

With all the criticism of the defending, I thought that Stones actually played another good game.
obviously one major error but there has been a noticeable improvement in his displays since his enforced absence and that mistake shouldn't take that away from him.

PS Kun is back. To those who have watched him over the years, that was clear after his goal.

Just to clear things up, Sterling was reported as getting a Yellow by BT Sport but the officials have confirmed he didn't and is therefore available for the return leg.

Oh and by the way, 5-3 go on City!

Just got back in but I need to see the highlights because I've not fully taken in what I've just seen, talk about mixed emotions.
Bent Ref, shit defending, fantastic forward play, was it a pen for us, was it a pen for them? Aquero off the mark with a flukey goal, gives him confidence to finish with a worldie, Stones makes up for his mistake with a belter, I could go on and on and I bet I'd still miss loads out.

Need a fcuking drink before I do anything else me thinks.

Must have been an error by the commentator on BT then, as they said that he would miss the return leg. Good to hear the commentator made a mistake as we need him for the second leg.
The fox fellas also said that Sterling got a yellow for dissent. Not sure if it was rescinded or not, but I suspect he'll miss next game.

Best team in France shitting all over everyone else in ligue un and we stuck 5 past them

if we get 1 over there they need 4

I knew i saw that defensive technique somewhere.

Has anyone mentioned the crowd tonight, even when we went behind everyone got behind the lads, the atmosphere matched the game, good night all-round.

Dare I say we actually look better with Kolarov at Centre Back?

Did I actually just say that out loud?!!!

Never EVER a dull moment following City, it's bloody brilliant.

Anyone know where I can watch the highlights i've just got home from the match & i really want to watch then

That just about sums it up for me too mate.

WTF did we just witness?

I fucking love this Club. They're going to be the death of me. But I love 'em.

I am crossing fingers that Sergio is fighting his way back to form. His first touch and passing was pretty poor at start of game but boy did he work hard. The lucky goal then the worldie .... we so need him to find his consistency from now on. Go Kun. Legend.

The penalty decisions aside, he had no control over the match, seemed amaturish just my opinion of course

agree....it was as if it was all about him (the ref) tonight. ....he made a rod for his own back when he started booking people so early....the penalty decision was atrocious (Kuns) and Im not sure the one against us was at all.....and on that......has anyone EVER seen the official behind the goal give any sort of decision in ANY match EVER?? I certainly haven't...I dont agree with the conspiracy theorists at times BUT that match should be investigated for the officiating and some of those decisions (he got the sterling one right however)
