Monaco post match

Did the keeper move the ball in a different trajectory and also keep his feet close to the ground after making contact with the ball and before making any sort of contact with Kun ? Yes he did.

Debatable pen for me. Scum would probably have been awarded it unless playing Barca or Real but it is what it is. We didn't need it in the end so alls good. Ridiculous booking though.

Makes no difference Shorts , he clipped his feet when he was on goal otherwise.

When a player gets the ball and clatters into an opponent and breaks his leg with a one or two footed challenge its not play on because he got the ball first (LOL).

Normally he is booked or sent off.

Little debate and we all know if it went to VR which it will next season the decision would have been overturned as would the yellow.

I thought the Ref did ok. On the Kun pen debate, the replay clearly shows the keeper touched and moved the ball in a different direction before making any contact.
I haven't seen the replay, but in which direction did the ball go? Towards our end, sideways, or toward their goal line?

Very weird to watch that while in France. Was in Lyon, mind you, so mixed reaction!

L'Equipe makes for interesting reading this morning, even to my ancient GCSE French! And some interesting player ratings for our classy back four!

To give some perspective, they gave the ref a 6, should've been a 10 in their eyes

Seriously, whoever says Augero's incident isn't a stonewall penalty need to watch the reply with glasses on...
Keeper didn't even touch the ball, Augero changed its direction to avoid the keeper and it merely scuffed the tiny tip of keeper's boot. Even then, Auguro was fouled and denied chasing the ball. That's 1000% penalty.

No objective observer would disagree with you.

Even Monaco supporters I have conversed with were amazed it wasn't given.

As previously mentioned these incidents required VR so thank god its on its way as too often the refs get them wrong.
