My mate has just told me that he had 2 jack daniels and coke and the bill came to 180 euros..In my case i would of told the bar staff to shove his drink up his arse.. how can they come up with such ludicrous prices?...

True that, a very good mate works in one of the champagne bars in the square mile.

I would say what he got tipped on millenium eve but you would call me a liar and i would call him the same had i not seen the cash and checks myself.

We then head off to the centre for the night and walking down the Champs Elyises (or however it is spelt) and we both need a piss...... so we head for a side street bar and she nips to the loo first whilst I order a glass of red wine for her and a beer for me.... 38euro (24 for the glass of wine and 14 for the beer!)
