Did any frequent the Ritz on a Monday night back in the 90's? They used to play a song in a ska stlyee that had the word Shiver or Shake or something similar. Does anyone know this song? You will help me sleep if you can tell me

Tune - although don't remember it from back then. The song i'm thinking of was more like the bosstones or rancid but it wasnt them

Monday night was bizzare in there. Punks, hippies, skinheads, rastas, every youth sub culture imaginable.

Do you remember the "battle of britain" type music at the end of the night when everyone ran around the dance floor anti clockwise?

Pissed up, we made the mistake of going round clockwise. Got kicked to fck.

I have a terrible memory sadly :( it was an eclectic crowd though and there was a little bit of something for everyone.

The only thing i remember vaguely clearly was the dude in the huge top hat!
