Unless this is a new strain with a very different transmission vector I honestly can’t see this turning into a pandemic in the slightest.
It mostly needs skin to skin contact ( or extended periods of close contact) and only transmissible when symptomatic.
the only reason Covid became a pandemic was the pre symptomatic / asymptomatic transmission which meant containment ( temp screening at airports etc ) was impossible.
that being said we need to not be too complacent just in case.
