It's a 286 mile race up the Pennine Way, and it has just been won by a woman in a new record time of 83h:12m:23s. The previous record was a man in a time of 109m:50m:22s

Cheers for posting this... it’s not something I’d heard of before. At least the weather must have been reasonable but even in relatively benign weather conditions it sounds a pretty brutal race. No worries. Last couple of years the weather was pretty shocking. It got so bad last year, at one point they had to suspend the race, and more than half the field didn't finish.Cheers for posting this... it’s not something I’d heard of before. What makes here achievement even more amazing is at every checkpoint she was having to expressing breast milk for her baby daughter.
