More good work from SB

The problem we have with the media is that it is swamped with former Liverpool players. To a degree it's understandable, Liverpool were very successful in the 70's and 80's, and as such their players from that period will have been high profile, and relied upon when football on the TV took off with the advent of the Premier League. We'll likely see the same thing over the next 10 or so years, but with the retiring United players coming forward. However whet this does do is gives the media a very biased viewpoint, the "pundits" are not doing their job in an objective maner. As a fan of one of the other top sides it's galling to see the bias being unchecked.

I almost agree with it all ,apart from they play great football.Quick long ball out to the forwards most of the time, not great football .

Liverpool winning the title for the press and pundits would be manna from heaven. It restores the ''Old order'' you see. Those upstarts of City and Chelsea may throw millions at winning trophies but at the end of the day right will come through and good old clubs like Liverpool, with loads of ''History'' and who do things the ''Right way'' will prevail.Utter tosh of course, as proven and conveniantly forgotten, that Liverpool have thrown hundreds of millions at winning it too.

They have all wound me up these last few weeks in a manner i thought only the rags could do.The arse kissing pundits, the fans of Liverpool and other clubs, the press and the smiling Rogers with his little digs and smug manner. Then add the emotion of the 25 year anniversary of Hillsborough into the mix and the cauldron and noise of Anfield and i don't know why we are bothering to turn up at all.

Hillsborough was a terrible event and an insufferable cover up by the despicable Tory press and government, shamefully carried on by a Labour government too.It rightly should never be forgotten but everyone of us feel the same way about a loved one we have lost along the way.Losing them tragically at a young age and in a manner that could have been prevented hurts all the more [i know personally] but it doesn't give you a divine right to win a title or success,as seems to be the feeling amongst some pundits.

I hope Pellegrini gives the team talk of his life.I hope he reads out some of the shit that has been written these last few weeks and shows them some of the interviews and video's.I hope he tells them to blank out all the noise and emotion and FOCUS.Do their jobs and show that they have been and are the best team in this league and go out and prove it.I hope we smash them, reduce Anfield to utter silence and as good as wrap up the title in the process and wipe that smug grin off the irritating Rodger's face. Here's hoping!

Liverpool have been playing some wonderful football, as have City, but the bias towards them ( Liverpool) has increased exponentially over the last few weeks, now all the Kop seemingly have to do is suck the ball into the goal, and hey presto, title won at the weekend!!!
True, City have struggled a little of late against Liverpool, the home game being one of the few where we have come from behind to win, but if we shackle Suarez, there's 50% of a goal threat/supply gone,
I just hope Pellegrini gets his plans right, and that the team takes it's chances, I'd love nothing more that City turning up and getting an early goal or 2, or preferably a late goal or 2 to shut up the fans/pundits etc...
The enormity of the occasion might be a distraction for the team, not only do we have the Hillsborough anniversary, but the pressure to win the game, potentially playing on their minds, while City are the proverbial lambs to the slaughter, the next team on the production line of hammerings.
Negredo to scuff one in in the dying seconds to win the game

But is that how it should work?
Surely the best person for the job and all that!

I'm sure there are very good pundits out there who aren't necessarily from either scum or Liverpool. Do we watch and think 'ooooh they used to play for XXX' or do we want to listen to their knowledge of tactics and players?

In the medias perfect world Liverpool will return to some semblance of their glory days and win a few trophies until United get their mojo back and then the two plus a resurgent Arsenal will mop up the honours sending nasty foreign backed City and Chelsea away with a flea in their ears thus proving that financial doping is just a short term fix.

What a pity it ain't gonna happen, eh?
