Irrelevant. He shouldn't sign pledges if he isn't 100% sure he will be backing them.

His party isn't in power though. He can't make decisions. I'm not sure how that's irrelevant.

If you have an interview at work to get a promotion to a decision maker role, they may ask you what decisions would you make if you got the job. If you don't get the job you cant make the decisions. Should you get the sack for not getting the promotion and therefore not able to carry out what you said you would if you got the job?

No one forced to him to gobble on tory cock.

A lot of idiots obviously thought 'Nick' had principles or morales or something.

His party shares power, therefore is in power. Yes, his party are the junior partner of the coalition but they are still in power. The fact of the matter is Clegg pledged that he and his party would vote against tuition fee increases whether in government or opposition. Every parliamentary candidate signed it. His party went back on that pledge, and quite rightly those who voted Lib Dem on that premise feel betrayed.

Right so he gets to have more of an input in to countries decisions than he or any of his party ever have done before. But he has to compromise some of his parties views.

His decision may well benefit him and his party in the long run - in his opinion

Not hard to see why he chose to snaffle camerons schlong.

He is deputy. The same as kidd to Mancini for eg. So who of the two has the final say in all matters?

My mind at it's feeblest would crush you into the ground so careful now piggie.

Wouldn't crush mine. You see I went to a top 20 school, ran out with with more qualifications than you could dream of and also received a 1st from Newcastle Univesity.

I now run a successful business.

You see little smelly one, you aren't the only pillock with a decent degree or education and I came accross many of your type whilst at uni. Infact - I would say that the above post is the epitomy of the type of wanker that those that have not had been to university imagine when they think of the great unwashed.

You think you are something special as you have a little certificate telling you that you were successful at something. Life starts when you leave and work sunshine and no amount of self-satifised smug posting as above will make it otherwise.

Act like that in real world and someone (not me as I am nice) would be making sure you were picking up your teeth off the floor.

So sorry I can't agree with your anti-all police doctrine or your Che poster, or your escaoism from the real world with your copious drug use. As you grow up, you will no doubt look back on yourself and cringe.

-- Fri Nov 26, 2010 12:24 am --

Blue Smarties... what happened to the woman you saw with serious head injuries? There was blood everywhere apparently so I'd have thought I'd have heard more about it on the news. I'm really concerned about her well-being.

I also looked out for it Cheesy, I have to say, as yet, I have been unable to find anything.

I shall let you know if there are any developments but in the meantime I think it may have been a case of adolescent makes up shite to defend stupid comment.

No, having read that I'm now convinced my mind at it's feeblest would crush yours at it's best.

My comment wasn't aimed at me so why you're jumping on my dick is beyond me but ride away, plenty of room for all of you.

I am fully aware of how this coalition works, please don't try to patronise me. At the end of the day MPs are all independent representatives. Yes they take a party whip in the majority of cases but they are still independent. Therefore they are free to vote against a bill, as they have in this case promised to. It's a shame the Lib Dems value their nice cushy Whitehall offices over their core vote, which will likely be decimated because of this. The Liberal Democrats have now lost all credibility because of this and I can see them going back to their pre-1997 levels of representation in the Commons.

MEIN KAMPF!, so hilarious how you are so similar in view to the guy who wrote that.
Right? Point?

you'd line all palestinian supporters up against a wall and shoot them? isn't that exactly what the Nazis did to the Jews, who predominantly occupy the state called Israel that is at loggerheads with Palestine?

How sad that people have to be either immature, crap at jokes or not learn from 70 years ago?

Well I voted for him and I can't get my head around it. Granted he's got himself abit of power, but for what price? He has a responsibility to represent the views of those that have voted for him, which in my opinion should trump the responsibility he feels he has to his party. For what it's worth I reckon his actions have destroyed the Lib Dems, I wont ever vote for them again and I can't be the only one. But that won't matter to him because at the end of the day he gets to sit on the front bench and nod at PMQ's.

In short - Nick Clegg's a sell out wanker.
