Morgan Gibbs-White

Not surprised the didn't influence the game

He's a good player but that's it, just good, deffo not the level required

Guess a silver lining is if we are adamant he's our guy (think this shows how badly the transfer decisions at the club has slipped) then he should be a fair bit cheaper now

Still....there are a lot of payers out there that are better than him, just takes a bit of scouting effort

Disagree. Can’t wait until he’s blue.
I think he’s another Phillips/nunes. No idea how so many on here are calling for him. He wouldn’t get close to the team of the season, let alone a city team in the last 12 years. Average player.

I realise it’s not about shirt sales but fuck me what kid would even be excited enough to ask for a Gibbs white shirt

Think the Fodens will keep the tills ringing.

Stiller not a pure 6?
Nah, he's the creative part in Stuttgart's mid, Karazor is the pure 6.
Stiller is reading the game excellently with the line breaking pass in him,
and a great leader in terms of attitude and winner's mentality.

Would compare him to prime Gundo as a metronome in midfield, although Stiller is much less of a scorer in the box.

Finishes the season with a goal contribution rate of roughly 1 every 2 games.

Not bad for a lad playing in a team who don't really like having the ball.

I don't think the concern with him is necessarily his output.

It's whether or not his game suits high possession vs low block teams, because where he has shone this year is when he has the space to run into and drive through the opposition on a counter attack.

As well as being a very good, energetic player (which we desperately need) he might also do wonders for Phil being his best mate and all that. Phil’s struggles mentally and physically might just be boosted by this signing. It’s a win, win for me. Every player we have doesn’t have to be a world superstar. It’s about the team gelling and having balance

I agree on the whole but the team doesn’t have enough superstars at present. That needs addressed if we want to trophies again.

Would Real Madrid sign him?
Not the same club that signed Luka Jovic, a past-it Eden Hazard, Reinier Jesus, Mariano Diaz, Alvaro Odriozola in just the past handful of years?

That’s not our barometer and proves even the winningest clubs can occasionally get things wrong.

It is not surprising that the same people who rush to this thread to shit on this lad when he has a bad game are also the same people who rush to the nunes thread whenever he has a bad game, but conspicuously keep quiet whenever they're playing well. once you've made up your mind on someone you're looking for confirmation
