Morgan Gibbs-White

I will never ever get my head around us selling Cole Palmer for 40m quid and bringing in Morgan Gibbs White for over double that amount.

The only way I will be satisfied is if we replace Kevin De Bruyne with genuine star quality. With a player that has top level ability and great pedigree.

Going from Kevin De Bruyne to Morgan Gibbs White would have been like us going from Sergio Aguero to Dominic Solanke.

The club need to wake up.
 
Imagine telling someone you are weakening your club in the ENGLISH premier league when you ACTUALLY GO FOR ENGLISH PLAYERS.

I get it because palmer wouldn't have had his one good season other wise for Chelsea!

If you think he's been poor this season, just remember... Palmer's worst season is still LEVELS above Morgan Gibbs White's best season.

Are they really? Palmer is a good player and while better than his last 3 months suggest he isn't the player he seemed last season either,probably somewhere in between.I'd say not very much between the 2 either way.

Palmer is an individual, not a team player. We are a team. I am glad he left, people saw him for that one season! Now let's wait to see how he does in the next few years before putting him in this world-class category!
 
He's a **** on the pitch. Doesn't fit the profile for us. Why buy an English number 8/10 when we have O'Reilly sat there ready. Buy a fucking left back.

I don't particularly want him but I can see why Pep wants him. Energetic number 8, box to box and snide on the pitch.

Not sure that one will happen. Pep dont sign Italians (assuming you mean the lad from juve)

Are we? All I hear is rumour from the Italian press quoting ridiculous prices. I am not convinced our interest in him is real.

To be fair even in his ‘poor season’ in the league he’s got 14 goals and 8 assists, which is better than pretty much all of our attackers. Those high assist numbers this season and last suggest he is a team player as well.

He’s miles better than Gibbs white
 
I'm not against this signing but think Eze would be better but that one seems to have gone very quiet.

Are you surprised that on a forum of city fans taking about city's transfer plans that my thought is not one thats been discussed with pep?

Of the top 10 FIFA footballing nations he's signed: Brazilian, Argentinian, Dutch, Belgian, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese and Croatians. That's 9 countries. What's the one missing.

Is it Uruguay can’t see Uruguay there does he not like Uruguay, this is a silly argument too silly for me.
