With Kev going we've got one more foreign space available, but we don't know yet which other players will leave. If we can't get any of the HG guys to go, we may need to look at bringing in some HG options.

Eg. We might want Wirtz and Cambiasso, but if Walker won't leave then we look at either MGW and Cambiasso, or Wirtz and Livramento. If Wirtz then chooses Bayern, then that pairing is out the window.

It'll be a complicated summer.

As for MGW - he's a good player playing in a totally different system to how he'd play for us. Whether our system would get the best out of him would be my biggest concern. He can pass a ball though, and has high energy, which would be an improvement.

Like top 4, the FA Cup, playing for England? All achieved whilst playing in an average team surrounded by lesser players. Wouldn't be so dismissive. Not had a nasty c#nt, busy dynamo player since De Jong (maybe Delph). We moan about our soft centre and lackadasical attitude constantly. If not him, someone like him would improve us.
